Stanisław Jan Borodzicz

Descent

Nobility (the Brodzic coat of arms); a son of Jan and Teresa née Sarosiek.

Work

He served in the 1st Regiment of Napoleon’s Imperial Guard. A translator, French language teacher at the Lublin Provincial School, teacher at the Chełm Corps of Cadets and professor at the Kalisz Corps of Cadets, owner of a bookshop (1823–1829) in Kalisz. In 1830, he moved to Vilnius where his wife Monika opened a public reading room. He was exiled to Siberia as a punishment for his participation in the November Uprising. His later life remains unknown.
