Education

He attended a Basilian school in Lady, in 1827 he began studying philology at the Imperial University of Vilnius.

Work

After graduation (1831), he took up the post of a teacher at the Noble Institute of Vilnius. From 1834, he taught Latin, and later history. The author of schoolbooks, translator. He created the original concept for Słownik języka polskiego (Polish Dictionary), published in Vilnius (1861).
